Southwest Airlines Co said on Wednesday that it has taken 41 planes out of service, but declined to comment on the reason.

      I haven't been on a plane since 1999. After this I don't know that I'll ever fly again. Just chicken, I guess. lol

        Southwest Airlines takes an extremely conservative approach to safety, and therefore has one of, if not the very best safety record in the industry.

          I wonder what they did wrong then? The old audit maxim: If it isn't written, it didn't happen? I fly SW at least twice a month and these stories make me nervous. Cracks in fuseloges: NO
