June 6, 2006, 11:39 a.m.I don\'t know much about sophistication OR adventure, but I far prefer San Francisco restaurants to those in New York. Eating out in Mew York is such a production -- from the crowds to the pretention to the inflated prices -- that it\'s basically impossible to actually enjoy your food. So many of the big name restaurants here feel like white-tablecloth Denny\'s. It\'s like eating on the bus.
